Our grand champion pen and champion grainfed steers sold for 330c/kg to return $1744. Our second place getters in class 1 sold for 317c/kg to sell for $1851 while the third place getter in class 3 made 317c returning $1797. The pen of ten that were first in class 4 sold for 316c/kg selling for $1411.
Our pen of Simmental/Droughtmaster heifers from class 5 made 288c/kg coming back at $1544. The grassfed steers that placed second in class 7 sold for 283c/kg making $1635 while their class counterparts that claimed fifth sold for 282c selling for $1688.
In summary our 40 purebred grainfed Droughtmaster steers averaged $1700 while 10 grainfed heifers $1544 and the 20 grassfed steers set a $1662 average at auction.
