National Droughtmaster Bull sale average $10,933 for Yaralla | Yaralla Droughtmasters
Yaralla set a hefty $10,933 average for our 15 bulls at the 2016 National Droughtmaster Sale, CQLX, in September.
Leading the charge for us in 2016 was the $32,000 Yaralla Rodney (H) selling to Drew and Kerri McKenzie, Hamadra Stud, Bluff. As a milk tooth, Rodney’s stats were a 42cm scrotal circumference, semen motility 80%, 742kg, fat depth scan of 12/8mm and a ribeye measurement of 125. Rodney is a son of Needmor 613 (Locarno Casper) and from a Yaralla Gaston daughter.

Next best was the $15,000 Quincy (H) a Yaralla Maxwell son with the following stats Scrotal 48, Motility 80%, Weight 734kg, P8 9, Rib 7, EMA 135. Quincy sold to John Atkinson, Katandra Stud, Hughenden. So consistent was our sale that four entries made $10,000. We’d like to thank all bidders and buyers of the draft and wish them every success now and into the future.

Other buyers included Arcturus Downs, Springsure; Dalmally Stud, Roma; the Day family, Barcaldine; Hazlewood Stud, Obi Obi; Jellinbah Pastoral Company, Blackwater; Kurrajong Pastoral, Alpha; Lake Elphinstone Partenership, Nebo; Warrina Stud, Ravenshoe; Keitly family, Monto; Parklands Stud, Kenilworth and Gavin Winton, Alpha.
